Nursing Home Violations

The Illinois Department of Public Health inspects nursing home facilities accepting Medicare and Medicaid payment for services to make sure they meet federal regulations and certification rules. The inspections are made by a team of professionals which include a Registered Nurse, Nutritionist and Environmental Health Practitioner. Nursing homes are inspected at least once every 6 to 15 months.
