Care Pair Team
Joann Dillon & Cynthia Clark

This month, we are featuring 2 of our live-in caregivers, Joann and Cynthia, who provide care for both a senior couple. The husband has congestive heart failure and dementia and the wife has Parkinson's Disease and they require 24-hour live-in care.

Joann has provided care for this client for more than a year and Cynthia joined this care team about 3 months ago. This assignment requires a lot of skill and patience, but both ladies have the couple's best interests at heart and do a terrific job!

**Joann has been a C.N.A. since 1988 and would eventually like to go back to school for a degree in nursing. She was inspired to help others after assisting with family member's care when she was younger. She enjoys spending time with her 2-year-old granddaughter and likes to relax at home with her husband and daughter. She said the thing she enjoys most about working for Chicagoland Caregivers is that the staff is helpful and addresses needs as they arise.

**Cynthia has been a caregiver for almost 10 years and has experiencing as a health aide working in nursing homes, private homes and also assists church members. Her first caregiving position was in a nursing home. She then decided she would like to try private care so she could devote more 1-on-1 attention to her clients. She said the thing she likes most about working for Chicagoland Caregivers is the flexible schedule and the way that the staff pays attention to her needs. She loves bowling, cooking, plants and is itching to earn her green thumb while maintaining her flower garden.
