Caregiver Spotlight
George Jennett

George works with 2 of our male clients and has been with one since the day he started and the other for more than 6 months, as an hourly caregiver.
How long have you worked for Chicagoland Caregivers?
For almost two and a half years.
What did you do prior to working for Chicagoland Caregivers?
Before coming to Chicagoland Caregivers, I attended medical school, worked as a Substititute Teacher and taught the MCAT for Kaplan.
What do you like most about being a caregiver?
I became a caregiver because I wanted to work with the elderly and those that need assistance because I feel that it is unfortunate that they are overlooked or neglected by society. My favorite aspect of caregiving is learning from the knowledge client's share with me.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my free time, I enjoy reading, exercising, spending time with my friends and healthy cooking.
George's future plans include completing his Medical Student Residency and then becoming a Geriatric Physician.
Congratulations George on all of your hard work and dedication!!
