Caregiver Spotlight
Brenda Shields

Recently, a 97 year-old client of Chicagoland Caregivers described this caregiver as, “She's a good cook, good housekeeper and an even better companion!” When we hear such positive feedback, it makes us all feel great about what we do for our clients on a daily basis. The caregiver receiving such glowing marks is Brenda , who was referred to us by her equally terrific ‘niece-in-law' Sonya.

How long have you worked for Chicagoland Caregivers?
I have been providing live-in care to clients for about 8 months.

What did you do prior to working for Chicagoland Caregivers?
I have completed my training as a C.N.A. and have had about 1.5 years of nursing training.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
When I am not working, I enjoy the company of my wonderful husband, Sam. We have been married for 15 years. I also enjoy bowling, reading love stories, cooking and gardening.
